HIS Project “The Holly” Reviewed by The New York Times

Thanks to New York Times Film Critic Nicolas Rapold for reviewing “THE HOLLY” — the riveting new documentary from HIS client, Filmmaker, Author, Investigative Journalist Julian Rubinstein. Executive produced by Academy Award-Winning Writer/Director Adam McKay (“THE BIG SHORT,” “DON’T LOOK UP”) and filmmaker/activist Damon Davis (“WHOSE STREETS”) THE HOLLY” begins its limited week-long theatrical run at New York’s Cinema Village today (March 3). The film is also currently streaming on Starz, various Video OnDemand distribution platforms, in addition to Prime Video, iTunes, Google Play and other streaming providers. Read what the Times had to say:

“The film portrays Roberts’s turmoil as the 2015 trial approached, and sorts through a paranoia-inducing churn of local police crackdowns, gang activity and general controversy. Roberts prepares a self-defense plea, but vents about further blowback after he speaks out against the back channels between law enforcement and gangs…Roberts emerges as a Shakespearean figure of forceful magnetism who fights mightily against being viewed as a walking metaphor for the Holly’s struggles.”
