M.J. VanDevere, Narrative Strategist

MJ VanDevere (she/her) is a versatile creator with proven experience in creating, editing, and producing audience-centered content for diverse initiatives. Known as the “Write Dr.,” she has excelled in developing original scripts for podcasts and YouTube series, creating marketing, branding, and digital content, delivering student-centered instruction, and composing medical short stories. MJ ensures scalable, high-quality execution across all her projects. With a unique approach shaped by her education, international travel experiences, and writing expertise, she is passionate about bringing stories and concepts to life. She earned her joint doctorates in English and Media Studies in 2020 from Vanderbilt University, after completing her M.A. in English in 2015. In 2011, she received her MFA in Creative Writing from Rutgers University, and she earned her B.A. in Communications in 2008 from Temple University.
