Imani West, Communications Associate

Imani West is a Baltimore-based communications and marketing professional specializing in digital communications. Implementing almost a decade of experience, Imani works with social impact orgs and change agents to tell their stories, expand their reach, and amplify their impact. Imani’s former professional roles include Communications Associate at John’s Hopkins University, where she oversaw the management, implementation, and evaluation of all communication efforts for the Johns Hopkins Urban Health Institute. Prior to that, she served as Communications Coordinator at the Institute for Integrative Health, and was also a former intern of now-Maryland Governor Wes Moore during his 2015 run for Mayor of Baltimore. Imani holds a BA in Mass Communications and Political Science from Virginia Wesleyan University. Outside of the office you can catch Imani exploring hiking trails with her pup Harper and cool food spots around the Baltimore-metro area.
